The Hunger Games is another bestselling fantasy series by Suzanne Collins. It was critically acclaimed and well received by the readers upon its first publication and just like the Harry Potter franchise, was adapted into movies that broke box office records. One of the main reasons of its success was the plot of the story and what people review as an accurate dystopian depiction. Set in an anti-utopian society, it tells the tale of Katniss Everdeen and her partner on a quest to play a haunting and dangerous game.

The character development through these fantasy novels are quite amazing and the readers are made to feel sympathy for them. Tolkien drew his own figures and maps to annotate the stories and wrote additional material to complement it. It can take quite some time to even draw the connections of all the characters as they are quite huge in number and intricate.

Following the tradition of other bestselling book series, the Lord of the Rings were made into groundbreaking movies that implied the use of new technologies and were labeled revolutionary. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is probably the most celebrated one of them all but the other ones aren’t any less epic. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that C. S.
